Easy Stress Relief - You Can Change Your Battle With Stress by Changing the Way You Think
Submitted byOver the years I have come to find out why some people can handle problems so easily and some people have a hard time handling that same problem. One of the main reasons is the way that we look at a problem. In other words, some people start to worry before they analyze the situation. In this article we will discuss a way to find easy stress relief before you get any worst.
Why Yoga Will Help You Manage Stress And Relax
Submitted byNow please don’t turn your nose up at the mention of yoga. It’s a great practice that helps you relax and get your mind and body working in unison. And the good news is that you don’t have to be a licensed therapist or instructor to reap the health benefits of yoga.
Managing Change
Submitted byWe seem to be undergoing huge change in our lives and much of it seems to be sudden. Losing jobs and/or homes, changes in our finances, relocating to new residences, long term relationships ending, loved ones passing on. If these things aren’t happening to you, chances are that it’s happening to people you know.
It can seem like just too much to manage. You may feel like you have nothing solid or concrete to hold onto, no anchor in the storm. Anxiety, worry, loneliness and fear are all over the place.

Many years ago, I had the opportunity to participate in MomCamp, a three-day retreat designed for moms to come together for the sole purpose of taking time for themselves. And it was great!
Mindful Breathing And The Stress-Free Mind
Submitted byWhy should you, an experienced breather, invest your limited time, money, and energy in the study of mindful breathing? The movement of your breath, thus far, seems to have been as dependable, as automatic, as the arc of the sun and the flow of the tides. You have been free to deal with more vexing problems-unclog the sink, balance the checkbook, take the cat to be neutered, wrestle with the crabgrass. Why tamper with a process that isn't demanding your attention?
People Problems? Try This
Submitted byWant to strangle somebody? Biting your tongue, but deep down inside you're in an all-out battle with one of your co-workers? Well, stop and relax for a second.
Even if you never say a word, but inside your head you're planning revenge, that may be the cause of your troubles.
Wanting What We Can't Have
Submitted byIn my previous posts, I've been slighting talking about wanting what we can't have. In our human lives, each one of us set out goals to get something that we want. That is what keeps society moving and functioning. We go to school in hopes of wanting a good job, we go to work in hopes of wanting a good salary, and we want a good salary in hopes of buying a house and supporting our family.
Unwanted Trash
Submitted byThe other day I had the pleasure of riding on public transportation. There were many individuals aboard this automobile. In particular there was a coffee-skinned middle-aged lady fiddling with something in her hands. As I looked closer she was taping together a torn bill. The process took a few minutes, but after a few minutes the lady was successful. After the passenger finished repairing the torn bill, the roll of tape was completely used up. So this passenger opened the window, and threw the roll of tape out of it.
Balancing Your Life as a Working Parent
Submitted byWithout a doubt one of the most difficult issues encountered by parents with children is balance. This article discusses four areas to focus on to help keep your sanity.
Get organized:
The more time pressures you have the more important it is that you are well organized. Despite what is sometimes said, there is no one way for every parent to stay organized; however, there are some golden rules:
Career Transition: How to Get Back in the Game After Losing Your Job
Submitted byWhether you are laid off, let go, or your company has closed its doors, the new buzz phrase is that you are in "job or career transition." The good news is that being in transition is much more positive and powerful than simply being unemployed. Unfortunately, many people in transition are feeling anything but positive and powerful.
